VESTRY MINUTES 4/11 2010
Present: Astrid Storm, Vicar, Diane Levitt,Warden, Paul Conrad, Dale Cunningham, Angelo Giamo, Larry Johnson, George Hemroth, Greg Citarella, Lithgow Osborne,Nancy Mahoney.
I. Introduction and prayer by Astrid.
II. February and March minutes approved by all.
III. Old Business:
a. Future committee updates:
Outreach meeting: May 19 @ 7:30 pm. ( Theresa and Katie)
Archive Meeting- April 28 @ 7:30p.m. (Jeff) Older members will be invited to attend.
Fund raising- April 21 @ 7:30 pm.
Roof party, Endowment Sunday, and Sunday school picnic will be held June 13, 2010.
Barbecue will be held and Larry will provide music.
Servant keeper- Vestry to be more vigilant about plate offerings for counters.
Vestry retreat and May vestry meeting to be held May 8, 9-2 pm.
Organ Fund:$ 25,000 needed. Speakers will be included. Greg will get literature and pictures.
Reports:
a. Vicar’s Report- Easter and Holy week very successful. Attendance was up. Use of incense outside discussed for next year. 9 am service to continue.
b. Warden’s report- Clean up day- May 15 (9-12 pm)
c. Music Report- Evening recital in July discussed. Trumpet player will return next Xmas.
d. Buildings and grounds: Four bids for HVAC replacement. Alison’s plan will have to be ammended. Next mtg- April 26.
Paul discussed setting up adhoc commitee to ammend by-laws.
e. Finance- Checking balance- $23,647.00
