Vestry Minutes - 2/7/2010
Present: Astrid Storm, Vicar, Diane Levitt, Warden, Larry Johnson, Angelo Giamo,George Hemroth, Lithgow Osborne,Nancy Mahoney, Greg Citarella, Dale Cunningham.
Absent: Paul Conrad
I. Meeting opened with prayer and vestry meditation by Astrid.
Lithgow made a motion to approve Jan. minutes. Second by Larry. Approved by all.
II. Election of new warden: ( Diane Levitt) Lithgow made a motion to approve.Second by Larry. Approved by all.
III. Review of January orientation.
IV. Old Business:
A. Servant keeper update.
B. Safe- Larry, George, and Angelo will help Paul install safe.
C. Boiler: Colin photographed area for boiler. Michael Rebic reviewed photos and suggested property commitee to install a window to enter area.
D. Roof Party: Chairperson and date to be deceided upon. Old slates to be painted and sold. Suggested donation-$25.00.
V. New Business:
A. Vestry meeting to be moved to the second Sunday of the month. Finance meeting to be held on second Wednesday of month.
B. Vestry Retreat- May 15 -to be combined with five other vestry’s.
C. New Commitees- Outreach commitee to be formed. Five or six people needed.
D. Fundraising Ideas- Brain -storming session for fund-raisers to be held 3/3/10 @ 7 pm.
E. Added fellowship as two services grow was discussed.
VI. Old Business:
A. Vicar- dates to remember.
B. Warden’s report previously covered.
C. Music- Greg to work with Sunday school for children to participate once a month.
Fund for new organ discussed.
E. Finance: Late pledges for 2010 discussed.
Checking account balance-$28,973.00.
Meeting adjourned @ 1:15 pm.
